Lemonade

Lemonade

In the middle of the hot summer, especially here in Florida, nothing can quite compare to a tall glass of ice cold lemonade. This one requires a bit of elbow grease, but its worth it. It's the freshest, cleanest, and purest lemonade you'll ever taste. The method I use makes it so you can't even taste the flavor of the honey, so it just makes it sweet like sugar would.

Lemonade INGREDIENTS 2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 24 lemons. Please don't take the shortcut and buy it from the bottle! It's more repulsive than you think) 1/3 cup water 2/3 cup honey (I use clover) 7.5 cups water DIRECTIONS 1. Squeeze out lemons until you get a 2 cups yield. 2. pour juice into a pulp strainer to get rid of the pulp, unless you like it in there. 3. Pour the honey and the 1/3 cup of water into a pan and heat on low heat while stirring for ~30 seconds to combine the two into one simple syrup. 4. pour the lemon juice, simple syrup, and 7.5 cups water into a pitcher. 5. Stir, refrigerate, and enjoy! You might want to stir the lemonade in the pitcher each time before pouring to get an even glass.
