Fruit Smoothie

This is a recipe I came up with BEFORE I was on the SCD. I’ve got to admit though, I’ve never quantified any of the measurements of the ingredients, because it’s been such a household staple. I’ll do my best, though. Measurements or not, this is one heck of a smoothie. Of course, you can substitute any of the fruits or juice I use in the recipe.

Fruit Smoothie  INGREDIENTS  1/2 cup frozen strawberries 1/2 cup frozen mangoes 1/2 cup frozen pineapple 1 Tbsp honey orange juice and water (amount depends on how thick you like the smoothie) small pinch of salt  DIRECTIONS  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender. 2. Blend until smooth. I like to use the “pulse” setting for more control. If the contents stop blending, shake them up and add a bit more liquid. 3. Serve in a cup with a spoon or straw. Enjoy!
